Here's a short screencast that will show you how to pair your device to Taplytics in order to create Visual Editor Experiments or for QA through the Taplytics Shake menu.
Keeping in mind, at the minimum, you need a dev build of the app with the Taplytics SDK (on iOS or Android) installed.
You can also pair with production or App Store builds with Advanced Pairing (iOS / Android) turned on through SMS or email so you don't have to rely on developers to provision a dev build for you to QA or create Visual Editor experiments.
If you have Advanced Pairing enabled, you can pair using the Email me or Text Me options.
For Email:
- Click on E-mail Me and then enter your email
- By now you should have received the email. Open that email on your device and in turn, it should open up your app with the success prompt, "Successfully paired!"
For SMS/Text:
- Click Text Me and then enter your phone number
- By now you should have received the text. Open that text message on your device and in turn, it should open up your app with the success prompt, "Successfully paired!"
