Apple changed how the iOS Simulator works. Every time you launch the simulator, it creates a new advertising ID which means Taplytics "sees" a new device every time it launches now.
How this affects QA is, if you're running the app and trying to check the variation in which the simulator is in (assuming it will stay in the variation) by force killing the app, starting over, and checking the variation again, you'll realize it's in a different variation.
Our best practice for QA would be to test on a physical device instead and check what variation of the experiment is being run on the device through the getRunningExperimentsandVariations method. Alternatively, you can check via User Insights if you have the user ID.
