Performance: The loading of experiments, and tracking and delivery of results all happens asynchronously in the background. This means that Taplytics has no material effect on user experience, and will have no visible impact on production builds, for both Android and iOS.
Memory: Our SDKs are designed to be efficient and have minimal impact. The iOS SDK is around 300KB compiled, while the Android SDK is around 130KB compiled (370KB including all dependencies with networking libraries).
Storage: Taplytics only stores a several KB JSON config file that is cached on the user’s device. This can only grow if you are running thousands of concurrent experiments or user attributes. The only other use of storage would be cached images used for visual experiments, so make sure you are optimizing the image assets before adding to an experiment.
To summarize, our SDKs are built to have a minimal impact on performance - however if your team has any specific concerns that you'd like us to elaborate on and address, please contact support@taplytics.com and we are happy to help!
